1 Chronicles 12:32 And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.
At the time of the transfer of the kingdom from Saul to David, there were thousands that drew sword but only 200 men who understood the times and knew what Israel ought to do and the rest were at their commandment. We live in perilous times and there be many who draw the sword of the Spirit but few who understand the significance of the times and what ought to be done. Never before in history has there been such an attack on the very fundamentals of what God ordained as vehicles of His oracles. Today, the religion of Humanism is having the impact that Christianity had on the world 400 years ago. There are three major areas under attack. Humanism has replaced the Christian worldview which governs the very thought processes which underpin our culture and the definition of values, morals and law. Humanism vehemently and successfully propagates its philosophies via the public education system and through government control.
The literal six day creation and worldwide flood of Genesis are undermined and discarded for the so-called "scientific facts" of evolution, the main doctrine of the religion of Humanism, effectively destroying the foundation of the entire Bible, the Atonement and truth itself. Though not an ounce of evidence exists for macro evolution which claims that all of us originated from a rock, it is still taught as science and its related theories permeate all subjects taught in the public education system.
The family, the very atom of society has disintegrated causing society to crumble. The role of men and women is confused and directionless children rule by virtue of parents rendered powerless by the increasing control of the State.
Every man is religious. He either vehemently worships himself or something else. This is why as Christians we need to hold fast to the very first commandment to have no other Gods before the Lord Jesus Christ which in its outworking will cause us to be as vehement in doing the agenda of our Heavenly Father as the Humanists are at working toward theirs which is to eliminate Christianity from our thought, our foundation and our family.
The Restoration of Thought, Foundation and Family conference presented seminars on
The implications of these three issues are far reaching and our attitude to these three issues will unequivocally determine the state of Christendom in our nation. Unless we reform our thinking to be consistent with God's heart rather than the Humanistic agenda, unless we take God at His word and interpret our world from His revealed truth and unless we build our society with families following God's order and pattern, within only several generations, Christianity will be a by-word. One might argue that the Lord said that the gates of hell would not stand against His church which is true, however, He also posed the question, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8).
