The evidence is in the Book, if you care to look.
There was no healing power for Trophymus, 2 Tim.4:20, and no miracle
for Epaphrodites, who was sick unto death Phill.2:25, 26,27. When Paul
was imprisoned in Rome a miracle at Nero’s court might have converted the
world, but miracle there was none, and heaven has been like brass ever
since, for the just shall live by faith and not by sight, and as long as
the Lord Jesus is seated on the throne of grace all judgment is reserved
for a future day.
Scriptures worth studying:
John 7:39..14:16. 2Cor. 1:22..5:5. 1Cor.6:19. Eph.1:13..4:30. John 14:26...15:26.
John 16:7,8,9,10,11,13,14.
John 1:33 The Lord Jesus alone is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is not received by laying on of hands but after conviction
of unbelief (sin), righteousness (because Christ the King is not on earth),
and judgment (because the Son of God was crucified), the Holy Spirit is
given when we believe that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures
(the Old Testament Scriptures), and that he was buried, and rose again
according to the Scriptures (Old Testament Scriptures), 1Cor.15:3,4.
*Pentecostal Amnesty - God’s offer of pardon to His covenant people Acts 3:19-21, if they repented for crucifying their King, He would not only forgive them but Christ would return, to fulfil the promises made to their (Israel’s) fathers. For further information read Pentecostal Error, Pente 2.

The Pentecostal amnesty was God’s offer to His covenant people, to fulfil the promises made to their (Israel’s) fathers, Rom.15:8, which is the Gospel of the Kingdom to be a reality. The promises to Israel are none other things than what Moses and the prophets have spoken Acts 26:22. None other things than the prophets Acts 3:24,25, from Samuel have spoken. On the day of Pentecost the offer of the Kingdom and the return of the King from heaven was renewed Acts 3:21 if they repented for crucifying their King. Some did, and in God’s mercy this offer was upheld for nearly 40 years in which the Gospel of the Kingdom was preached through the entire Roman Empire with the result that in every Synagogue God’s offer was rejected. Israel was proven a Nation of unbelief (Apostasy - claiming to be God’s people, yet not only rejected His Word but His Son and The Holy Spirit). There is no remedy for apostasy but judgment, and in A.D. 70 Israel was judged, and set aside. The Pentecostal dispensation to His favoured people, which is the offer of the Kingdom, ceased, and instead God concluded them all (Jew and Gentile) in unbelief, that He may have mercy upon all Rom.11:32.
Hence, instead of the Gospel of the Kingdom ( God’s promise to His earthly covenant people), the Gospel of the Grace of God is preached, that Christ is seated now on the throne of grace, and is offering free salvation, with a heavenly inheritance, to whosoever will, for God is not imputing man’s trespasses 2 Cor.5:19. This is the Gospel to the Uncircumcision. This is the "My Gospel" of Paul the minister to the uncircumcision. This is the Gospel that Paul communicated to the other apostles on his third visit to Jerusalem. Gal.2:1-9. When Paul wrote to Timothy he said it was "the Gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust," 1Tim.1:11. This is the Gospel which Paul received by special revelation, and is in complete contrast to what Peter preached on the day of Pentecost. It was to the "sons of the covenant" Acts 3:25 that the gospel of the covenant was preached "The Promise is to you and to your children Acts2:39. But to the Gentiles the apostle Paul preached the Gospel of Grace - the gospel of the "mystery" truth, that grace was "reigning through righteousness unto eternal life." Rom.5:21.
Most of you may already know that grace and works (law) are incompatible.
Rom.11:6 and Eph.2:8. Well the same is applicable here, for neither are
covenant and grace. Until Israel was set aside there was a difference
between Jew and Gentile. Now "There is no difference, for
the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon
Him."
Rom.10:12. These are the principals of the reign of grace.
